While crime is largely considered the primary reason by anything to the right of Karl Marx for deportation there is another reason why we must do it. This is plain old economics, specifically the economics of labor. First, however, we must go over why this is important.
As the classic laws of supply and demand state the more of a good there is on the market the more likely that good is to be cheap. This is important for one reason, labor in of itself is an economic good. This means for the average Joe’s prosperity and living standards it is better for labor to be scarce.
Why did the the greatest generation have it so easy after World War II? Labor scarcity, extreme labor scarcity in fact. Thanks to mass conscription, war time causalities, immigration restriction (say hello to Operation Wetback), and a lack of female labor participation the labor market was tough for employers.
When that is the case you see employers do the following things, no matter how much they bitch about it. Wages rise, benefits improve, managers from hell get reigned in, and so forth. All of this is done for only one reason, manpower is a scarce (and therefore valuable) commodity.
What happens though when illegal aliens enter the picture? More labor is on the market, while many are “complete” leeches many are “competitive” leeches. Not only will they work for less and require no benefits they will also feel the need to work harder. Anyone whose been around hispanic construction workers or cooks knows this to be a fact.
That means that whites in those professions get pushed out. Those whites will then have to find new jobs, increasing the labor supply pool for other job categories. This effect continues to ripple out throughout the entire labor market, leading to our present day circumstances.
There are also the secondary effects of illegals on the economy. Because more humans are in the market that means more demand for food, housing, medical care, cars, education, and well…everything, really.
All of this raises prices for us and reduces our living standards. Given all of these factors we can only conclude that more deportations equals an improved economy. It is not just the egregious waste from the feds that is causing our current woes, illegal aliens are a part of the equation to.
For that matter virtually all that I have said here also applies to legal immigrants as well. Even after a complete purge of the illegal from our borders it may be wise to begin the process of repatriating legal immigrant populations as well. Lets make labor scarce again (MLSA)!
I will disagree with "white". This drives down wages for all legal Americans irrespective of race or gender.
